The McDonough Family Fund - including The Ride for Andrew and McDonough Family Day

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SIGN OUR GUESTBOOK

Our mission is to raise money for the McDonough Family for their living expenses.

The McDonough Family has been by their son Andrew's side since January - helping him battle childhood leukemia.

Andrew "Curly", a 14 year old freshman at Salesianum in Wilmington, DE, has been at A.I. DuPont Children's Hospial since being diagnosed with Leukemia on January 27, 2007. You can learn more about Andrew at www.caringbridge.org/visit/andrewmcdonough.

100% of the cash raised and approx. 95% of the credit card donations raised (we have to pay processing fees) will go to the McDonough family for their living expenses.

We're raising money in several different ways. Please feel free to participate and/or contribute in whatever way(s) makes sense for you.

THANKS TO ALL OF OUR SUPPORTERS!

RIDE FOR ANDREW:
The 'Ride for Andrew' is a coast-to-coast bicycle ride. Dave Corydon, a friend of the family, will ride 4,200 miles from Florence, OR to Wilmington, DE. For much of the ride Dave will be by himself, on a recumbent bike, following Adventure Cyclist routes/maps and staying at hotels along the way. Dave will start out on May 6th and plans to ride approx. 80 miles a day. The full ride schedule is at the bottom of this page. Please note that Dave's still working on making up some time to get in on June 23rd at noon. But it's a pretty good representation.

You can jump on along the ride in OR, ID, MO, WY, CO, KS, MO, IL, KY, VA,MD, DE or you can ride into Wilmington, to Salesianum, on Saturday, June 23 for the last 50, 25, 10 or 5 miles. The ride ends at 12 noon on June 23 at Salesianum.
